Project Overview
This project involves the development and delivery of a major highway infrastructure corridor, designed to enhance regional connectivity, improve traffic flow, and support economic and logistical activities. The assignment encompasses complex civil works, transportation infrastructure, and service facilities, requiring integrated engineering, construction management, and coordination across multiple stakeholders. NAMAA Consult’s role focuses on ensuring efficient execution, quality control, and strategic oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and resource allocation to construction and delivery.
Scope of work:
The scope of work for this project includes the comprehensive execution and management of a major highway infrastructure development, covering the following components:
- Construction of a 5.5 km highway in accordance with approved engineering and safety standards.
- Construction of six tunnels, including all associated civil and structural works.
- Installation of thirty-four pipe packages, with diameters ranging from 80 cm to 2.0 meters.
- Implementation of road safety elements, including barriers, road signage, and traffic control systems.
- Execution of full road works, including the construction of a toll station, four gas stations, and a service area.
- Construction of administrative buildings required for project operations and management.
- Provision of project management services, including client representation and detailed project planning.
- Development of the project budget, identification of required resources, and selection and management of subcontractors.
Outcomes:
- Completion of a 5.5 km highway meeting safety, operational, and performance standards.
- Delivery of six tunnels and supporting structures ensuring uninterrupted traffic movement.
- Successful installation of large-diameter pipe networks supporting infrastructure resilience.
