Project Overview
This project involved the supervision of regular and preventive maintenance works for transportation infrastructure across Asir Province, carried out under the administration of the Ministry of Transportation. The assignment aimed to ensure the continuous safety, functionality, and long-term performance of roads and related assets through systematic oversight and proactive maintenance practices. NAMAA Consult’s role focused on supervising inspection activities, maintenance execution, and preventive interventions to sustain reliable transportation services across the province.
Scope of work:
This project includes the supervision of regular and preventive maintenance activities for transportation infrastructure across Asir Province, under the administration of the Ministry of Transportation. The works cover the following components:
- Supervision of maintenance works for roads, bridges, tunnels, drainage systems, lighting, and traffic safety infrastructure.
- Oversight of routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure infrastructure safety, functionality, and long-term performance.
- Monitoring of repair works and maintenance interventions to address structural deterioration, drainage blockages, and lighting system failures.
- Verification of compliance with approved standards, technical specifications, and safety regulations.
- Coordination with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely execution of maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to traffic movement.
- Continuous assessment of infrastructure conditions to support proactive maintenance and risk mitigation.
Outcomes:
