Project Overview
This project focuses on the development of advanced software solutions aimed at regulating and enhancing advertising signage across Riyadh, supporting visual harmony, regulatory compliance, and improved urban aesthetics. By leveraging artificial intelligence and high-precision spatial data, the project introduces a smart, automated approach to monitoring and managing signage within the city’s primary road network. Scope of work:
The scope of work includes the design, development, and implementation of an AI-based software system for regulating advertising signage, covering the following activities:
- Development of artificial intelligence algorithms capable of detecting non-compliant advertising signage based on newly established regulatory standards.
- Automation of the signage identification and assessment process to ensure compliance with guidelines related to design, size, placement, and material.
- Utilization of data collected through mobile mapping and 3D laser scanning technologies to create precise digital models of existing signage and their surrounding urban environment.
- Integration of spatial and visual data into the AI system to enable accurate analysis, classification, and decision-making.
- Support of regulatory authorities in identifying inconsistencies, violations, and areas requiring corrective action along Riyadh’s main roads.
