Project Overview
The project aimed to create a modern bridge structure that efficiently separates traffic directions while enhancing the visual quality of its surrounding environment. Special attention was given to long-term performance, maintainability, and architectural integration within the urban context.
Scope of work:
The scope of work focused on developing and evaluating multiple bridge design alternatives, including:
- Proposing several bridge design alternatives that balance structural performance, traffic efficiency, and architectural aesthetics. The proposed bridge separates traffic into two distinct directions with a total width of 25.26 meters.
- Developing architectural and cosmetic variations for each alternative, introducing modern design concepts that enhance the bridge’s visual presence without compromising structural integrity or traffic flow efficiency.
- Ensuring that each design alternative optimizes functional performance while addressing urban integration, durability, and long-term maintenance requirements to support sustainable infrastructure development.
Outcomes:
We managed to successfully deliver a set of well-integrated bridge design alternatives that meet technical, operational, and aesthetic objectives. Key outcomes included:
- Multiple functionally optimized bridge solutions providing safe and efficient traffic separation.
- Architecturally distinctive designs that enhance the urban character and visual identity of the surrounding area.
- Design solutions that maintain high structural performance standards while minimizing future maintenance demands.
- A flexible design framework enabling stakeholders to select the most suitable option based on urban planning priorities, budget considerations, and long-term operational goals.
