The Study and Evaluation of Roads’ Conditions and Operation of the Road Asset Management System (PMMS) in the City of Jeddah is a strategic infrastructure project aimed at enhancing the performance, safety, and sustainability of Jeddah’s road network. The project focuses on applying systematic road condition assessments and operating an integrated Pavement Management and Maintenance System (PMMS) to support data-driven maintenance planning and informed decision-making. Through advanced asset management methodologies, condition monitoring, and GIS integration, NAMAA Consult supports Jeddah Municipality in optimizing maintenance investments, extending asset lifecycle, and improving service levels across the city’s transportation infrastructure. Scope of work:
- Design and implement automated inspection and maintenance management systems to support condition monitoring, reporting, and lifecycle management.
- Develop standardized methodologies for asset structuring, classification, and documentation across transportation infrastructure assets.
- Conduct performance evaluation of roads, bridges, and airports using condition indices, functional performance indicators, and safety metrics.
- Develop performance prediction and deterioration models and translate model outputs into optimized maintenance practices.
- Establish maintenance and rehabilitation prioritization frameworks for road networks and airports based on risk, performance, and service levels.
- Prepare maintenance and rehabilitation budget estimates aligned with asset condition, performance targets, and funding constraints.
- Evaluate maintenance materials, techniques, and technologies to ensure technical suitability, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Integrate maintenance management systems with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to enable spatial analysis, asset tracking, and decision support.
