Project Overview
The primary purpose of this project is to operate the Road Asset Maintenance Management System and to study, assess, and enhance the methodologies applied within the existing road maintenance management framework.
Scope of work:
- The project includes the development of a structured mechanism for managing road assets transferred from other entities, taking into account their physical, operational, and functional characteristics.
- This mechanism will be implemented through an integrated computerized system supported by Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to ensure consistency, traceability, and spatial accuracy.
- The scope of work also covers the assessment and evaluation of road assets, including the preparation and issuance of technical and performance reports to support maintenance planning and decision-making.
- Develop performance prediction models and translate outputs into effective maintenance practices.
- Define maintenance priorities and propose a budget-aligned maintenance plan.The project will utilize Kharetat Alenmaa’s specialized inspection equipment, including survey vehicles equipped with high-precision electronic systems, to evaluate pavement layers from both structural and functional performance perspectives, as well as to assess traffic safety conditions.
- In addition, the project will involve the operation of all components of the Pavement Management System (PMMS) in full compliance with contractual requirements, supported by specialized technical expertise to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and implementation of maintenance strategies.
