Study and Evaluation of the Structural Condition of 10 Steel Bridges in Riyadh is a specialized infrastructure assessment project aimed at enhancing bridge safety, structural reliability, and long-term asset performance. The project focuses on applying advanced inspection technologies, detailed engineering analysis, and data-driven evaluation methodologies to support informed maintenance, rehabilitation, and investment decisions. By combining 3D laser scanning, field inspections, and structural engineering expertise, NAMAA Consult supports Riyadh Municipality in strengthening bridge asset management and ensuring public safety across critical transportation corridors.
Scope of work:
- Conduct 3D laser scanning surveys for all bridges and prepare accurate as-built drawings reflecting current structural conditions.
- Perform visual inspections, on-site field tests, and material sampling for all bridges to assess structural integrity and deterioration mechanisms.
- Carry out detailed structural analysis and engineering evaluations for all bridges based on inspection data, test results, and applicable design codes.
- Prepare comprehensive structural evaluation reports documenting condition assessments, deficiencies, and risk levels.
- Develop final evaluation reports and feasibility studies for 10 selected bridges, with each bridge receiving a separate, tailored technical solution addressing its specific condition and requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation and professional presentations for each bridge to support decision-making and stakeholder review.
